Women travelers get own floor

Singapore's Naumi Hotel is offering women travellers a special amenity: a separate floor all their own. The five rooms on the sixth floor of the 40-room boutique hotel are designated for females only, says The Straits Times. The rooms feature "grey floral wallpaper, patterned cushions and toiletries [specifically] for female guests, such as aromatherapy products, makeup removers and facial toners and cleansers." "These days there are more women travellers around the region who are here on business, leisure or medical trips," said a Naumi spokesman. "The idea of staying on an all-woman floor appeals to them as there is privacy and security."
