Would you believe it?

Bugs in the bedroom - A suspicious wife bugged her bedroom in Wuhan, Hubei province to see if her husband was cheating on her, reports China Daily, citing Chutian Jinbao News. The husband, Zhang Ping, has sought help from a district legal aid centre after accusing his wife of invading his privacy. "Zhang was advised to ask his wife to debug the room instead of consulting legal advice," says the paper.

Cows can fly, too - Pigs might fly, but apparently so can cows, as one car driver in China's Jilin province found to his cost when one suddenly landed on the hood of his vehicle. "The heavy black-and-white cow smashed a deep dent into the front of the vehicle," reports the Northeastern News Network. The cow was attempting to escape from a cattle rustler by jumping out of his truck on the way to a market. The driver is now in custody.

Take care when you swear - The man upstairs works in mysterious ways, as two Chinese men from Fujian province proved when one of them was struck by lightning, reports weirdasianews.com, citing MSN's Chinese-language site. A man known as Wong called his friend Xu to collect a long-standing debt, but "Xu denied that he had borrowed any money and asked him to prove that there was a debt to be owed." Wong told Xu to swear to God that he hadn't borrowed any money, which Xu did, shouting, "if I ever borrowed money from Wong, let me be struck by lightning," only to be hit moments later by a thunderbolt.

Keeping abreast of global warming - The Japanese division of the lingerie maker Triumph has unveiled a solar-powered bra that can generate enough electricity to charge a mobile phone or an iPod, reports Reuters. The aptly coloured green bra features a solar panel worn around the stomach. It's not yet for sale, as the manufacturers still haven't figured out how to wash it safely.
